Wrath of the Soulforge King Price Breakdown. The Budget Box

These battle boxes have caused some ire in the passed they have been priced stupidly high. Usually when they have some big new model attached like Vashtorr. With the Horus heresy box and the kill team Moroch it did seem that games workshop had learnt their lesson. Did this continue with the one due soon. Chaos vs The Dark angels (insert civil war joke here). It seems so as it is going to £130, in line with the price increase . First I had to take some guesses with Azrael and Vashtorr, I will be using other chapter master such as Shrike for Azrael, and the New Demon Prince for Vashtorr. As they seem to be the closest in size and are comparable units.

A total of £227.50, a saving of £97.50 a 48% saving. This is one of best value boxes Games workshop has produced. So you are getting the dark angel army for £10, or the chaos side for £27.50. Making resale not that much of an issue to recoup your losses.

It's a good box, with some great looking models. Really is the meaning of a budget box.
