#SAVEYARRICK

So you have probably already heard the news already, if not Commissar Sebastian Yarrick will not be in the new astra militarum codex. I believe as a community we can get him in the codex where he belongs, or at least a downloadable datasheet after release so he can still be used. So share the hell out of this video to show games workshop, that Yarrick belongs on the table top and in the codex.

Yarrick isn't even the oldest character model available, Captain Tycho has that honour and he died on Armageddon. Th only change Tycho has had is, once made from metal then finecast. Yarrick survived Armageddon and had two models. Tycho has 9th edition rules, but Yarrick won't.

Yarrick is all types of bad ass, he led a rebellion against orks when he was a slave, beat ghazkhul thraka twice, and killed an ork warboss with one arm. After getting his arm cut of by an ork power claw, he used his chainsword to kill Ugulhard. Yarrick then went on to rip the power claw right from the dead orks body, after that allowed himself to pass out. Think about that killed a high ranking ork, stole his weapon, then went I'll have a nap in the middle of the battlefield. Legend has it his brassballs are so heavy, it is why he has a baneblade and not a taurox or chimera.

Yarrick's model is still one of the best looking models games workshop have ever made. He is so expressive. Yarrick has a kinetic look to him, with an air of command. He looks like a leader in a battlefield. Something that gw lacks in most models and even the space amrine commanders nevr have this look about them. From his open pose, his outstretched arm, and you the fact you can almost hear him shouting commands with that expressive face. The power klaw and storm bolter, that's right he shoots his storm bolter like a pistol. Everything abou this model shows Yarrick is not to be trifiled with. Let us not forget he can shoot lasers from his eye, because what is not badass about laser eye.

Yarrick considers those under his command in his care. That's right, he tries to make sure his soldiers are looked after and that he does it too. He stopped an interrogation of one of his men, because it was important that hs should be treated properly and should the soldier have done anything wrong. Yarrick was the one that was meant to deal out the punishment. This level of humanity is rarely seen in the 40k universe, and yarrick shows it time and time again. With Armageddon, the safety of the civilians was his top priority and that the ones that signed up to the militia were given training. Unlike many others, who would have dragged all able fighting civilians into the war, gave them a gun and said point towards enemy. Yarrick made sure the populace had a fighting chance, we can further see his humanity, with the armed militia being kept back and trained soldiers were sent out. Sparing as many civilin casualties as possible.

He's only human, a human that Ghazkhul thraka. The prophet of gork and mork, to be his equal. Ghazkhul who fought Ragnar Blackmane. Yet he thinks Yarrick is his equal. Ghazkhul thraka considers Yarrick as important to his existence as food and liquid. It's not just ghazkhul either many orks are what can be closest emotion that orks feel, fear Yarrick. With this in mine he is important to two factions. Astra militarum and the orks.

Removing Yarrick from ghazkhul thraka is akin to removing batman from the joker, superman from lex luther. This single human rallied a planet twice, fought one of the worse invaders of Armageddon twice. He is a hero of the imperium. Where as a dead space marine who died in the same war Yarrick fought in and has had the same model since second edition. It is on right that Yarrick stays too, he's alive, he is absolutely bad ass, and should be updated not removed.

If games workshop still sees fit in removing, then at least can we get a proper send off. I would like to see him fighting back to back with Ghazkhul against the daemons on Armageddon. Yarrick dies, Ghazkhul goes in to a rage butchering every daemon. At th end of the war, Ghazkhul carries old bale eyes corpse back to the imperial guard garrison. No shots fired, solemnly leaves, for now as respect to his dead foe. Never to find out who would win. For their fight cut short by daemons of the warp.
