Sisters of Battle

The sisters of battle get their boarding patrol, get 10 battle sisters (can be 5 celestians and 5 dominions), 5 celestian sacresants, 9 repentia with a repentia superior, and finally one canoness to lead them. Great number of models and variation.

canoness £25

10 battle sisters: £37.5

9 repentia and superior: £35

5 celestian sacresants: £37.50

Total of £135

As there are various prices for boarding patrols I'll do both savings if £70 it is a £65 saving if it is the same as the highest its only £50. If less than £80 it is worth getting, more just pay the extra £15 for the combat patrol. You get so much more.

Thousand sons

Thousand sons box is pretty weak to be honest with you, it has 20 rubric marines and 2 spawn. As you can tell no hq units.

20 Rubric marines: £75

2 spawn: £32.50

Total of £107.50

This going to have to be £70 anymore isn't really worth it, as the two rubric marine squads are equal to £75 the second cheapest price. Making the spawn free, honestly I would just get the two rubrics and the Horus heresy Ahzek Ahriman. Use him as the Hq.

Adeptus Custodes

Another weak box, you get 5 custodian guards, 3 allarus terminators, and Trajann Valoris. You can make several different hq and elite choices. The sheer lack of numbers makes it pretty poor.

5 Custodian guards: £37.50

3 Allarus terminators: £35

Trajann Valori: £27.50

Total £100.

Again this should be £70, anymore is not worth it. If you buy just the units you can get 1 shield captain, 1 vexilus praetor, 3 Custodian Guards, and 3 Allarus Terminators. That is all for £72.50, only £2.50 more than the lowest price. With the hq being a named charcter and the only thing you might not pay for, multiple buys are not even worth it.

These boarding patrols are not the best, as it better to do the thousand sons and custodes your self. The thousand sons picture shows a single spawn, warhammer community says it has two.
