Kits to kitbash sisters of battle!!!

rollforwound

Sisters of battle are one of most diverse ranges games workshop makes. With 30 datasheets in their codex, that is a lot as in you could build an army with 30 units and not repeat one unit twice. The model range mirrors this. So with that in mind I say screw that noise let us use other models in the Games workshop range to kitbash and use to make a more unique army. Here is five kits to Kitbash for your sisters of battle army. Not Catchy I will work on that.

Let's start with the sisters repentia, those berzerk women with massive chainswords called evisceraters. Yeah they are not wearing much either, because the emperor protects. Sisters of slaughter from the daughters of khaine are an excellent choice, simple head swap or file the ears down. Then add the chanswords. Because evisceraters are harder to find make them dual wield chainswords. There you have really cool looking sisters repentia. Honourary mention howling banshees, again head and weapon swap. The thing is there is only five and armoured. Look cool for added variation into your sisters of battle army.

Sisters of silence for a simple five woman, battle sisters squad. Add some of your spare sister heads and back packs to finish them of. Superior can have the great sword for a power sword and a spare pistol weapon as well. If you wish you can also give one of them a flamer as your special weapon. If a battle sisters squad doesn't do it for you, a celestian or dominion for full flamer squads to burn those heretics.

Seraphim and the zeraphim, drukhari scourges are great for feathery wings, if you get two boxes you can make a full squad. The feathery wings are great for an angelic look. With unhelmeted heads and the right weapons they look great, remember to trim the spikey bits off of course. Unless you are going heretical.

Now the non adepta soritas units you can include, I want to do a second part for heretical sisters and another on loyal sisters. So I'm going to stoop here with those unit types.

First is crusaders, pretty cool with their 4+ invulnerable, 3+ normal saves, and their strength 4, -3a, and damage 1 power swords. At only 11pts a piece they are pretty cheap too. At £13 for two is a little steep kind of for a quick unit not bad. Bigger picture more expnsive then the average space marine financially speaking. So stormcast eternals vindicators. Replace the spear with the sword and voila. Two units at £3.20 a model, that is if you want to use them all of course. You can make a full female unit too. If you wish to keep that theme going with your army.

Finally arco flagellants, these little psychos are really fun to use and paint. There is ten in a box, yeah they look cool, or you could use the flagellants from cities of sigmar. They look super zealous, psychotic, and £14.50 less. They fit theme of an ecclesiarches force and works well on the table top. You can add wires or green stuff masks to give them that 40k style with the money saved on your flagellants.
