GW PRICING NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT

So the prices of the Warhammer 40,00 battle forces are out. I was wrong, they are not £150, but £130. This pleases me, I could be all salty for being wrong. I am not because it shows that games workshop are actually being far better with their pricing. From the new Horus heresy models being the same price or cheaper than warhammer 40k. The necromunda and killteam prices being more regulated and sensible. The last killteam being £110 though limited edition, games workshop you should work on that next. Ebay scalpers are still a problem.
Instead of a price breakdown, I want to talk about what no one is talking about, games workshop improving their pricing. 2022 had horrible inflation, and games workshop could have priced the new battleforce boxes accordingly. Which would have made each box £150 as I said in my estimate video, yet they didn't.
With the new horus heresy models, the land raider in particular could have cost a lot more than they do. The cheapest warhammer 40,000 land raider is the same price at £52.50, the most expensive and pretty much the only other ones. Yes ones as i multiple are £65, games workshop could have released the horus heresy land raider proteus at this price mark. They chose not to and marked the price at the lower end. Which is great and needs to be recognised Screaming about how expensive warhammer is, while remaining silent when they start to lower some prices and level out others. Is not the way to go about things, the more we talk about when games workshop does something like this, means the more games workshop will continue it.
Business have to be treated, the same way you would train an animal. It sounds absurd, but it works. If an animal does something wrong you do not reward it, you ignore or punish. You praise good behaviour. Not just releasing a mediocre new model for your favourite army, that seems to have neglected for years, and shouting down those who are calling it bad. That will only encourage worse miniatures for your army in the future. As they were praised for releasing a below par mini.
Saying well done to a great price for a box, even those that are meant to be limited edition. Will also encourage sales and raise profits. An good example is the rhino, games workshop makes four. The Deimos for horus heresy at £28, the one for chaos at £30. the normal space marine one also at £30, and the sister of battle one for £36. They are all the same tank, so why would I buy the sisters of battle one for my adepta soritas? When I can save £8 on the diemos one and cover it in the symbols and sparre icons on the battle sisters sprues, and any other inquisitor model sprues like grey knights. That extra £8 can go to more warhammer or towards another rhino.
This goes for hq models too, the last new one that got released was the leagues of votann, their big named character is grimnyr he is in box of 3 models, is the same price as the single model of castellen crowe. Games workshop could have priced grimnyr at the £30, once again decided to remain lower and showing with castellan crowe a the same price for more models.
There are many other ways games workshop are keeping prices steady if not lowering them. The escher cutters are a box of four jet bikes at £28, the aeldari shroud runners are £40 for three jet bikes. Side note too, the escher cutters are also cheaper than the adeptus mechanicus serbyrus with three at £35. I hope that this means games workshop when they release the rough riders, they will hopefully be around the £30 mark for five. Even £35 for five would be good too.
