With the killteam morloch box being pretty much just the scenery with free models, and the horus heresy legionaires being up to 48% cheaper than normal first born space marines. It really looks like games workshop are addressing their pricing, now with the latest pre-orders prices it looks like the trend is continuing.
First is the leviathan dreadnought, priced at £47.50, while I agree this is £5 more than the redemptor dreadnought which is the aproximately the same height. Making it the most expensive dreadnought. It is at the very worse a £42 price drop from the resin forge world one. As the plastic games workshop leviathan comes with both arms, which on forgeworld costs £15.50 each. So £31 for the arms, this makes buying the leviathan and the new close combat frame £20 price reduction, from its original price.
now the warpforged box, a venom spitter and two obliterators at £42.50, a google search marked 3 mutilators, which were the same price as the obiterators at £36. That makes the average obliterator at £12. £24 for the obliterators, leaving the venomspitter a price of£18.50. £18.50 for a sizeable walker daemon engine, is quite the bargain.
The warpsmith, same size and price as the primaris techmarine, £24. When the new imperial guard kriegsman were released, they are £35, £5 more than the cadians with the new sprue. So it is telling that games workshop didn't add a couple more quid for the new warpsmith, and now the new cultists are cheaper than than the cadian guardsman by £2.50 at £27.50 again showing games workshop is pricing is getting better.
