There has been four new boarding patrol boxes announced, and they are good bargain usually around the £65 mark. Here is the price breakdowns.

Adeptus Mechanicus:

Estimated saving £47.50 A nice, varied box with plenty of choice. Three can be made in to one of two choices so two boxes will build 7 different units.

Chaos Daemons

10 blood letters: £24

10 flesh hounds: £65 (£32.50 a box)

Karanak: £24

Total: £113

Estimated saving £48.

You are getting the blood letters and Karanak for free, but you would do better to buy the Chaos daemons combat patrol box for the extra bloodletters, skullcrushers, and herald instead of karanak instead of Karanak. A boring box there are more daemons than just khorne.

Death Guard

10 plague marines: £58.50 (Normal box £32.50 plus reinforcements £26)

3 death Shroud: £36

Lord of virulence: £24

Total £118.50

Estimated Saving £53.50 A great box for beginners and adding to an existing force. Great hq choice, with good elite and troop choices.

Genestealer Cults

10 Hybrids: £52 (£26 a box)

I like this box for anyone beginning to collect gsc. A fun looking hq choice, the hybrids can be metamorphs or acolytes, and bigger than usual infantry models. Two boxes will build different units.

These are better savings than the combat patrol boxes. With whole units being essentially free, unlike many combat patrol boxes giving you a single model free. The problem is they are not a permanent fixture to games workshop catalogue.
