Best Kits To Make Your Inquisitor With

I love inquisitors, they have some of best stories. They can be almost benign to the malevolent bastards we all know and love. The best thing is they can be represented with almost any model that games workshop makes, well the mostly human looking ones any way. Here is some kits to make the best looking inquisitors to add to your imperium army. Without using the inquisitor models that games work shop makes. Another thing before we start making these from scratch can be more expensive than buying the model, but I will be covering kits that enough spare bits can make a full model for your inquisitor.

First let's start with the base, as in the model you are going to make your inquisitor. For powered armour there is a massive selection for you. Cypher with his two pistols and the way he looks like he is going for one of them, Black templar Marshal so much we can work from his kit alone, with his many weapon choices. If you want to psychic the Horus heresy Ahriman is a great starting point, finally, you have Neve Blacktalon. These are for those who want an inquisitor in power armour. Lesser armour inquisitors, strangely first is the imperial guard sentinel. This model is great for a seated inquisitor. The commissar model both can work here, the normal one and severina raine. Finally wyrdvane psykers don't need much work either. It needs to be said that armour is purely aesthetic, as you will only get a 4+ normal and 5+ invulnerable. That is your base model sorted, now for the heads.

Grey knights for power armour that knightly look adds a warrior feel. For females in particular sisters of battle and skitarii heads are a perfect size for your average human. Sisters of silence heads are great for that dystopian future look. Imperial guard box are great for heads in particular the catachan for unhelmeted ones. Cadian command squad has an amazing peaked cap head.

Weapons you have the basic chainsword and bolt pistol combination. Inquisitors get a lot of choices in this area. First great choice would the deathwatch veteran box, you get combi-weapons, and a vast amount of melee choices. Like power swords and thunder hammers. Space marine upgrade sprues are good too, if you are looking for a certain style. The Salamander one has hand flamer and thunder hammer. Grey knights is also another worth getting if you are going psker with the force weapons and storm bolters. You can of course use them as power weapons. Imperial guard command boxes are another good box for weapons. Catachan if you want to go power sword and bolter. It also includes several ranged weapons that are viable options for your inquisitor. The tempestus scion command sprue is fantastic as you have that great coat slung over a shoulder and again load of weapons too.

Well I hope that has given you some inspiration for your inquisitor model. Now here is some boxes that you can make an inquisitor with the spare bits, the start collecting militarum because the heavy weapons needs to be three heavy weapons teams, it leaves you two models you can make your inquistor out off. You get many pistols, ranged, and melee weapons for your inquisitor.

Grey knights terminator box, if you have a spare female head you can make inquisitor sabbathiel if you give her a force halberd. You can still create a three man paladin squad with an ancient. Of course you don't have to make sabbathiel, she is just an option.

The space marine command squad, you can make your captain, champion, ancient, and apothecary with a model left over. The sprues has many parts to make your inquisitor. The sanguinary guard for you inquisitor a head swap and the wrist mounted weapons look really cool. You will have to go with out the jet pack and do a head swap, but you will have a very kinetic looking inquisitor.
