2022 Battleforce Boxes Prices and Breakdowns

So the battleforce box are announced, there is eight in total and no xenos ones this year all imperium and chaos. There is six imperium and two chaos. I don't like this, because there is so many faction and sides to pick from. To highlight one side in what is the games workshop Christmas sale and have chaos thrown in for good measure. It is insulting, any way prices and breakdowns.

I don't know the prices, if we add the average price rise of games workshop minis we had this year. This was 5% and inflation to last years boxes. The prices topped out at £130 last year, we get £150 and change. So I'm going to err on the side caution with £150 as the highest they should be. If any more They will be a saving but you can do better for the imperium minis for £150, not the chaos one because their combat patrol boxes suck.

First is the sisters of battle you get Morvenn Vahl, six paragon warsuits, ten sisters of battle, and five sacresants this all comes to a value of £191 saving at least £41. If you can't get this battle force box the sisters of battle combat patrol box at £90 will save you around £80 and add Morrvenn Vahl to go with it. Morven Vahl will bring it up to £125 so around £25 cheaper than the battle force. You will have a more rounded force with a canoness, 10 sisters of battle, a penitent engine, a rhino, three arco flaggelents, a repentia superior and four sisters repentia, seraphim, and of course Morvenn Vahl. Honestly If the battleforce is over £125 you can do alot better for the same price.

Now we have the adeptus custodes. In this wonderful box you Captain Trajann Valoris, 15 custodian guards, three vertus praetors, and three allurus custodians a grand total of £202.50 a £52.50 saving. The combat patrol plus Valoris and allurus will bring yo to £148.50 a pound fifty less. And you are swapping two of custodes for sisters of silence and saving £47.50 as well so the battleforce is the better saving. Going by inflation that is.

Ad mech's turn now. In this box you get Belasarius cawl, 10 skitarii, six breachers, and two kastellan robots with their data smith. This battleforce's value is £187.50 so maybe a £37,50 I am hopining all these boxes will be cheaper than inflation and gw's price rise. This is quite a low saving and I am erring on the side of caution so here is hoping the prices will be lower. So the combat patrol box and belasarius cawl, that comes to £125, but saves you £44.50. This time you'll get 10 skitarii, three breachers, tech priest engineseer, and a dunecrawler. A nice big vehicle. I hope its lower than the maths predicts, if not the combat patrol and cawl is the better value.

The next three are the best value you are going to get, because I wanted to maintain the named characters in all of them. These named characters are at the lowest £95 with the daemon primarchs.

first imperial knights 4 armigers, and knight preceptor. £205 saving £55. Thats all there is to say there.

Nurgle, this box is pretty good, mortarion, 14 plague marines, and five blightlord terminators. £196 saving a predicted £46. Twenty minis, its a nice box with a good centre piece.

Tzeentch you get magnus, 3 exalted sorcerers, and 20 rubric marines. Total value and a predicted £51 saving. Another nice box, chaos really have the best boxes here.

Finally is the two space marine boxes. Raven guard and Imperial fists, which means I have to add in the upgrade sprues too. The imperial fists you get I think one sprue as that will cover all the marines, tor garadon, three aggressors, and fifteen heavy intercessors. Total value of £194.50 saving you £44.50. Which combat patrol box to get instead with tor garadon and the sprue? Any they are all better value and better kits. Blood angel one its the best and swapping out the fifteen heavy intercessors for 5 intercessors, 5 incursors, an impulsar, and a librarian. Its a damn fine trade.

Raven guard box, this one is better with two warsuits, shrike, phobos librarian, ten reivers, and three eliminators. Of course the sprue. Total value of £211.50 saving £61.50. Unless you go with the space marine combat patrol with the shadow spear models you are not going to do better. With that box you dont need the raven guard sprue as it won't fit on the moulded shoulder pads already there.
